Randoms of the kids

We got PJ a pool since it is hot down here. He thought it was pretty cool. It is a good thing that it isnt deep otherwise he probably would have sunk with that diaper.

I just thought this one was cute

Joe doing some tummy time. He is pretty strong already. It still amazes me how fast they grow.

PJ wanted to remember the good ol days of being carried around.

Yogurt + spoon + 18 month old = this

Cute kids huh! I still cant get PJ to hold Joe. This is as much as he will let Joe touch him

This is what ....

Joe did all night long last night. ( Except in his crib) He has been doing a good 6 hours for the past week and a half at least but last night he went to sleep at 10:30 and didnt wake up til 6:40 in the morning. I would say that I slept the whole time but I didnt. First off we had a few phone calls in the middle of the night. Pete has guys working at a Food Lion and they have to work at night. Well someone was looking for them so they called a couple times, and then I woke up wondering if Joe was alright of course. Went to check on him and he was sound asleep. Not bad for a 6 1/2 week old. God knew what he was doing for sure when he formed my kids. He know that their parents like to sleep. PJ slept good too at that age but I think Joe has him beat.

Who needs a bowl?

When I turned around to look at PJ this is what I found.

God creation is amazing

Since my mom does not have a blog I thought I would post these pictures. My brother and his family were in town a few weeks ago and they were on my parents deck and saw a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. It is absolutely amazing how they transform. I guess you can order caterpillars from somewhere and keep them til they turn into butterflies. Here are a few pictures that they took.

Don't we all...

wish we had this much excitement about life?

PJ better watch out

I take pictures of the kids every month til they are a year in their diaper. I think PJ might be the little guy of the family if Joe keeps growing at the rate he is. Here they both are at one month old.

Pentwater with the Family

For the past three years we have been going camping with my family up to Pentwater on Fathers Day weekend. When I was growing up we would go camping there every year so it is fun to take our kids there so they can experience it as well.
We figured this was the easiest way to give the little guys a bath. I thought I would just have PJ stand in the tub but instead he decided to sit in it and play instead. It was pretty funny to watch. The kids got their fair share of candy for the weekend. Lots of trips into town.My mom came up with the idea to make shirts for the kids. The big kids (Jake, Lindsey, and Owen) all did their hand prints and the little guys did their footprints. Even Joe got in the action at 2 weeks old got in the action. I think he still has paint on his toenails. The end productJoey hanging out, we were trying to keep him cool but Pete was also trying to get his bellybutton to fall off. It was close so he thought if he aired it out that would help. It actually did fall off the next day.
Jake's birthday is on the 14th so it always falls in when we are camping. Ethan turned 1 on the 30th of June so we got to celebrate his as well.
Then we always go go-carting as well. PJ got to go this year. He really didn't know what to think of it. He didn't cry but he wasn't thrilled either.

The whole family

We got to enjoy God's beauty as well. Isn't it amazing. You can never see enough sunsets and each one is so beautiful.
